Turku Archipelago
DAY 1 ARRIVAL TO TURKU
Personal arrival to Turku, a bustling summer city on the south-west coast of Finland. There is a medieval castle and cathedral, and a wide selection of bars, cafes, and restaurants.

DAY 2 TURKU - NAUVO (57km + ferry)
Collect your bicycles and ride south-east out of the city. A fine system of Bike Lanes keeps you out of the traffic as you head into the archipelago. 1 short ferry brings you to the island of Nauvo for overnight stay by the sea.

DAY 3 NAUVO - HOUTSKÄR (38km + ferries)
A choice of routes takes you across a couple of islands to Houtskär. An excellent dinner is included tonight in hotel’s top-rated restaurant.

DAY 4 HOUTSKÄR - KORPO (20km + ferry between hotels, + extra cycling according to own wishes) There is one relaxing ferry journey today between 2 of the biggest of the archipelago islands. Its 20km riding distance between the overnight hotels but there are various possible ways to get extra cycling in for those who wish.
Dinner tonight is a 5 course local tasting menu in the highly-regarded hotel restaurant.
Overnight on Korpo island (BD)
DAY 5 KORPO - NAANTALI (57km + ferries)
Returning to Nauvo, the main archipelago island, take the ferry north back to the mainland and continue by bike to Naantali, an idyllic harbour village of cobbled streets and old wooden houses. There is a selection of local restaurants to choose from for dinner.

DAY 6 NAANTALI-TURKU (17km)
Free time in Naantali, or in Turku according to your preference. Short ride back to Turku to return your bicycles.

• All accommodations have private bathrooms
• City centre locations at the start and end of the tour make it easy to arrive + depart and pick up/drop off bikes. Beautiful natural locations in the archipelago combine with a stay in the small town of Naantali.
• 2 dinners are included in excellent island hotel restaurants.
• Breakfast is included daily.
• Suitcases can be left without charge at the start/end hotel. Spacious dual panniers are waterproof or choose to have luggage transferred for a supplement.
• This is a self-guided cycling tour. Each guest receives full route as downloadable .GPX files plus a Route Information Leaflet including ferry timings. There is no guide included. On most departures there will be other guests cycling.
